Accessibility (VPAT)

Impact Suite is committed to an accessible, inclusive experience and works toward alignment with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, consistent with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act and Title II of the ADA.

Our approach

• The platform is built on a component-based design system using semantic, operable controls (buttons, links, form fields), structured headings, and text alternatives for meaningful imagery.
• Accessibility is evaluated with automated testing (axe-core) integrated into our test suite and a code-level audit of shared components, with manual keyboard and screen-reader testing in progress.

Honest status

We publish an interim VPAT 2.4 / WCAG 2.1 AA Accessibility Conformance Report rather than a blanket claim of conformance.

Completed and live in production (July 2026), verified by an automated axe (WCAG 2.1 AA) test suite that passes with zero serious/critical violations across our core pages: a consistent visible keyboard focus indicator, removal of the viewport zoom restriction, an accessible base dialog (focus trap, Escape-to-close, return-focus), form components that programmatically associate labels and announce errors, accessible names on icon-only controls, corrected color contrast, keyboard-focusable scroll regions, and named chart graphics. An enforced automated accessibility gate now guards against regressions in CI.

Still in progress, and candidly noted in our VPAT: a full manual keyboard + screen-reader (assistive-technology) testing pass, which is the last step before a no-caveat conformance statement.

We believe a documented, honest improvement program serves our district partners better than an unsupported conformance claim.
